Tales from the MLC
My first multipanel comic since I got my graphics tablet, yay!
So all those people(*) who wanted me to do comics can leave me alone. I even made a special page.

I got sick of never getting myself right in pictures so used a photo to get the proportions, I think quite successfully. This isn't based on any particular incident, but I am prone to "helping" Maths Learning Centre attendees with completely wrong answers. Keeps 'em on their toes I say.
I love my graphics tablet.
Also, Cam has a photoblog!
(*)Really, there's at least one :)

Froggy
Yeah, it does funny things under safari too thats why I edited it :) (The change isn't showing on planet ucc yet though)
Oh, god. I thought I was the only one.
Except I know I do this all the time, so I announce at the beginning of class that my arithmetic is squirrelly, so if anyone should ever be sitting out there doubting their arithmetic skills because I put down a different answer, they should TOTALLY point it out to me, because it's probably me.
Fortunately, my arithmetic-screwups has a way of acting as an icebreaker, and even can sometimes ease my (adult) students' mathophobia...
Yes, I used to like to think it did mathphobic students confidence good to see me make dumb mistakes: if they're smarter than me, and I have a Phd, it can't be that hard :D
