Your brain: 20% interpersonal, 15% visual, 10% verbal, and 55% mathematical! |
A substantial difference in scores between two people means, conclusively, that they got different scores.
Matching Summary: Each of us has different tastes. Still, I offer the following advice, which I think is obvious:

So clearly your average 25 year old woman uses less than 100% of her brain. |

(*)Where here I'm just talking about dividing-into-pieces-of-pie percentages. Duh. Cos, for example, it's fine to say "2(**) is 200% bigger than 1". Happy now Mr Pedantic?
(**)Where by "2" I of course mean "3".
And I was kidding about the salad :)

Yes, I see what you mean about people who think you can get more than 100%...
Since when did percentages stop at 100? It is fine to have a percentage higher than 100 in this case, since it is comparing your capacity with another.

Having said that, I still think this is a stupid quiz.
Hmm...I suppose you COULD think of each as a pecentage of your score compared to the average amount used. Maybe.
This is belied by the statement "Congratulations on being 400% smart"....hmmph. I think it makes more sense to divide the scores by four so its a percentage of the total. And...he was mean! To maths people! So...bah to him I say!
I did say I thought it was a stupid quiz, right?
I just thought that statements that percentages can't go above 100 should be countered, particularly on the blog of a mathematician of your calibre. People might get the wrong idea.

Indeed! Well, my reputation as a mathematical genius is no longer blemished by such a glaring error, so all is well.
How would you take it if I pointed out that 2 is only 100% bigger than 1. It is 200% *of* 1, but 100% bigger.
Pedantor strikes again!
Oliver
Curses! Foiled again by your superior numerical ability!
