A combination of things I can't be bothered telling everyone in person, and things I want to tell everyone whether they want to hear it or not.

Dreaded Continuity

A while ago I decided a good way to practice drawing longer comics would be to draw interesting dreams, since they come with ready-made imagery and plot. I actually started one, but since I was inspired from the end and ran out of steam before I got back to the beginning I haven't posted it :) Anyway, this time I've been inspired from the beginning (I have six whole pages scripted! After that god knows what happens) to make:

A somewhat unoriginal comic (edited this entry to reflect new shiny..ok, crap.. page)

Suggestions about style etc are welcome. Suggestions for a title are especially welcome. Cam's idea of "Catnip/tuck" doesn't quite work :) I can't help feeling I've cribbed some of the character and plot from Digger and the moon sequence in Narbonic (The whole female-guard-babbling-incomprehensibly thing) but it does change a bit later on....(assuming I can be bothered doing any more)

Also I revamped my maths homepage, comments also welcome but it's a lot less interesting.

Death and Rebirth

We have a new fridge! Woohoo! Well we think it's exciting news.

Also, the flower of death is dead:

It got infested by some sort of itty bitty white bugs. Pictured is the largest of what turned out to be three plants. Included for scale is one of the many pegs that had fallen into the boobytrapped mess of vincas and cactus over the years. It's that teeny blue dot near the base.

There was something else, but I've forgotten what. This was an exiting entry wasn't it!

Getting my priorities straight

I have emails/comments to reply to etc but am feeling too sleepy and cold and stupid (though not actually that sick) Woo. Woozy. Anyway, I regardless feel compelled to post my ingenius response (made at the heught of illness, for my muse knows no mercy) to the recent Mars/Snickers thing.

I give you: Masterfoods turns distater into marketing ploy

And since when do Masterfoods own Mars? eh. Back to the couch.....
